Does the other person need an account?

No. Anyone with the link can open it on the zines host.

How do I start?

Sign up for the beta and wait for approval. Then describe what to explain on the new-zine form. Generation runs in the background and shows up in My zines.

Can I make it less technical?

Yes. Set the audience in the brief. Edit and regenerate if the first pass is too dense.
